Hello! As I'm sure you have seen, Steven and I are hosting a very special weekend in July for all of our friends - that means you! The details are listed at the end of this post, but one thing I wanted to be sure to do was share some of my favorite places in Franklin, Tennessee, my hometown. When you are here for Weekend with the Chapmans (or anytime, really!) be sure to check out the places that I think make Franklin the special city it is.
The South is famous for it's cuisine, and these are a few of my favorite Franklin eateries:
Red Pony
Truly a Steven and Mary Beth go-to restaurant for special occasions or a date night. The guacamole is the best, and Steven would recommend the filet. When I say we frequent this restaurant the most of any, its true! They know us there!
Pieology
What’s not to love about a place where you can create your own pizza AND see SCC lyrics on the wall?!
The Bunganut Pig
Nothing fancy here! Tucked away in a basement, this pub-type restaurant is perfect for a local feel lunch. It's just good Ole' American Food. Try the deep fried pickles.
Kilwins
This is more of a SCC favorite. He is a lover of chocolate and a lover of ice cream! With that said, you should stop here. My favorite is the caramel apples.

White's Mercantile
This is one of my favorite local shops. It has sweet, unique gifts for everyone.
Rock Paper Scissors
The cutest paper store ever! I just love this store and all the beautiful things inside.
Walton's Antique and Estate Jewelry
I love just looking at and wondering what the stories are behind each treasured piece of jewelry.
Philanthropy
I shop for my girls here a lot! A beautiful clothing store that is full of compassion and love. It's Christian owned and it is evident throughout! Love it!
City Farmhouse
This is a favorite antique place to stop. There are plenty of places like this in Franklin, and this is one of my favorites.
The Little Cottage Children's Shop
This shop is just precious. I look for unique, baby gifts here. It’s a bit spendy, but they do have great sales.
